Job summary

B&F Contracting, Inc. is seeking a Foreman for CIPP projects in Tucson, AZ. You will lead field crews, oversee installation, curing, testing, and documentation, and ensure safety and quality on site.

Responsibilities include planning, coordinating with the Superintendent, equipment readiness, and enforcing OSHA standards. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and the ability to work flexible hours including overnights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• 5+ years of experience in underground utility construction, including cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) installation
• Previous experience supervising field crews and coordinating daily construction activities
• Knowledge of CIPP installation methods, liner materials, curing processes, equipment operation, and quality-control requirements
• Experience with pipe cleaning, CCTV inspection, bypass pumping, service lateral reinstatement, and related pipeline rehabilitation activities
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, drawings, permits, and manufacturer installation procedures
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, confined-space entry requirements, hazard abatement, and applicable construction safety standards
• Completion of required OSHA, competent person, confined-space, and other applicable safety training
• Ability to identify and address hazards associated with pressurized equipment, chemical resins, wastewater, and underground utilities
• Knowledge of CIPP equipment, including curing systems, compressors, pumps, generators, and associated tools
• Knowledge of street and highway traffic regulations and safety precautions when working on or near roadways
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to accurately complete daily reports, production records, equipment inspections, and employee timecards
• Strong focus on safety, quality, integrity, accountability, productivity, and teamwork
• Flexibility to work weekdays, nights, weekends, and extended hours as project schedules require
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, kneel, bend, and perform physically demanding work throughout the day
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
• Willingness to wear required PPE including hard hat, eye protection, reflective vest, gloves, and composite-toed boots

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate field crews; supervise, train, and develop crew members to ensure safe, efficient jobsite operations
• Review project plans, specifications, permits, work orders, and site conditions; coordinate daily activities with the Superintendent
• Enforce safety requirements, conduct pre-task planning, and lead job hazard assessments; exercise stop-work authority as needed
• Coordinate site setup, traffic control, bypass pumping, and protection of utilities, structures, the public, and the environment
• Oversee liner preparation, installation, and curing activities according to project specs and manufacturer requirements
• Ensure proper setup, operation, inspection, and maintenance of CIPP and related equipment
• Oversee reinstatement of service connections, final CCTV inspections, site restoration, and punch-list completion
• Maintain installation records, curing data, inspection results, and other documentation; ensure accurate timekeeping and reporting
