Job summary

B&F Contracting in Tucson, AZ seeks a Lead Field Superintendent to direct crews on cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) projects. You will ensure safe, efficient jobsite operations, supervise crews, coordinate equipment and materials, and manage installation, curing, and quality control in line with project specs.

Responsibilities include planning, safety enforcement, site setup, and robust documentation of processes and outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• 5+ years of experience in underground utility construction, pipeline rehabilitation, or related construction, including experience with cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) installation.
• Previous experience supervising field crews and coordinating daily construction activities.
• Knowledge of CIPP installation methods, liner materials, curing processes, equipment operation, and quality-control requirements.
• Experience with pipe cleaning, CCTV inspection, bypass pumping, service lateral reinstatement, and related pipeline rehabilitation activities.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, drawings, permits, and manufacturer installation procedures.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, confined-space entry requirements, hazard abatement, and applicable construction safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans and site conditions; coordinate daily work with Superintendent and project personnel.
• Supervise, train, and develop field crews; assign tasks and monitor performance.
• Lead pre-task planning and job hazard assessments; enforce safety requirements and stop-work authority.
• Coordinate site setup, traffic control, bypass pumping, and protection of utilities, structures, and environment.
• Oversee preparation of host pipe, including cleaning, CCTV inspection, and readiness for liner installation.
• Coordinate receipt, handling, storage, preparation, and installation of CIPP liners and materials.
• Oversee liner insertion, inflation, curing, cooling, and finishing activities; monitor process parameters.
• Ensure proper setup, operation, inspection, and maintenance of CIPP equipment and related tools.
• Oversee reinstatement of service connections, CCTV inspections, site restoration, and punch-list completion.
• Maintain installation records and documentation; complete daily production and safety reports.
