Job summary

Crusoe Energy Systems LLC in Denver, CO, seeks a Senior Operations Accountant to own the accounting for AI data center development projects and operating sites. This hands-on role partners with operations, project controls, and FP&A to deliver accurate financial information for a rapidly scaling portfolio.

Responsibilities include CIP tracking, fixed assets, lease accounting under ASC 842, month-end close, and project-level reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• Master's degree is a plus.
• CPA designation is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain CIP schedules and cost capitalization for AI data center projects.
• Own month-end close activities for development and operating entities.
• Review vendor invoices, change orders, and budgets with operations teams.
• Apply ASC 842 to ground leases and real estate contracts.
• Prepare monthly project- and site-level financial reporting packages.
• Execute SOX-relevant controls and support audits.
