Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a meticulous Fixed Asset Accountant to own the lifecycle of our capital assets for our AI infrastructure. You’ll join Finance, Procurement, and Operations to track GPUs, power units, and related equipment, ensuring accurate capitalization and reconciliation.

We expect 2–3 years of fixed asset experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and strong US GAAP knowledge. This role emphasizes precise data analysis, asset controls, and monthly close processes in a dynamic, energy‑focused

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of dedicated fixed asset accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP for CAPEX vs. OPEX and internal controls.
• Experience with consolidations, joint ventures and intercompany transactions.

Responsibilities

• Capitalization oversight: ensure CAPEX vs. OPEX and track expenditures by project AFE.
• Asset lifecycle management: process capitalizations, transfers, retirements in Asset4000.
• Cross-functional reconciliations: align Netbox with FA sub-ledger and GL (Intacct).
• Financial reporting: prepare PPE roll-forwards for entities and JVs.
• CIP & deposits: maintain CIP reconciliations and deposits detail.
• Tax & audit support: assist with property tax GL reconciliations and audits.
• Physical verification: lead book-to-floor counts and reconciliations.
