Job summary

General Motors seeks a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join the CI/CD and Embedded Software Development Tools team within VEST. You will design, build, and operate cloud-based CI/CD pipelines supporting GM's embedded software production and virtualized test environments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS, Software Eng, EE or related field.
5–7 years in software tools, platform, or infra development with DevOps focus.
Strong CI/CD pipelines experience (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
Hands-on cloud experience and container orchestration.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for embedded software production.
Architect and operate cloud-based platforms hosting build, test, and virtualization capabilities.
Collaborate with dev, test, platform, IT, and security teams on automation practices.
Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of pipelines and platforms.
Integrate pipelines with physical and virtual test environments for automated testing.
Automate provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of platforms.
Monitor performance and drive data-driven improvements across pipelines.
