Job summary

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries America, Inc. (MHIA) is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Chillers to lead customer-facing centrifugal chiller and modular cooling plant projects in North America from order intake through handover. This hybrid role is based in Plano, TX.

You will coordinate with customers, contractors, and internal teams, manage scope, schedule, budget, and compliance, and drive safe, on‑time delivery with focus on quality and accountability.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, project management, or equivalent experience.
• Experience: Minimum of nine (9) years, with at least four (4) years in centrifugal chillers and modular cooling plants.
• Experience: Manage customer-facing projects from order intake through engineering, manufacturing, delivery, installation, and handover.
• Proficiency reading and interpreting GA drawings, P&IDs, electrical drawings, control narratives, and installation manuals.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end execution of centrifugal chiller and modular cooling plant projects in North America, from order intake through final handover.
• Serve as primary interface with customers, consultants, GCs, EPCs, MEPs, and internal teams.
• Lead regular project meetings, report status, escalate issues, and drive timely decisions.
• Define and manage scope, deliverables, interfaces, and responsibilities across stakeholders.
• Ensure customer satisfaction, schedule adherence, quality, and successful handover to service teams.
• Maintain project governance: execution plan, schedule, risk register, change log, and communications.
