Mitsubishi Heavy Industries America, Inc. (MHIA) is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Chillers to lead customer-facing centrifugal chiller and modular cooling plant projects across North America from order intake through commissioning.

This hybrid role is based in Plano, Texas, and requires expertise in coordinating engineering, manufacturing, and site activities, managing scope, schedule, and budget while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end centrifugal chiller/modular cooling plant projects in North America from order intake to handover.
• Interface with customers, consultants, general contractors, EPC, MEP, and internal teams.
• Lead meetings, report status, elevate issues, and drive timely decisions.
• Define scope, deliverables, interfaces, and responsibility boundaries among Customer/EOR/GC/MEP and suppliers.
• Ensure customer satisfaction, schedule adherence, quality, and handover to service/aftermarket.
• Maintain governance artifacts: execution plan, schedule, risk and issue logs, change log, and comms plan.
• Coordinate engineering deliverables (GA drawings, P&IDs, electrical drawings, control narratives).
• Manage submittals, reviews, approvals, and resubmissions.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, procurement, engineering, quality, logistics, installation, commissioning and service.
• Track production schedules, factory milestones, FAT readiness, shipping readiness, and delivery commitments.
• Coordinate site delivery planning, including windows, receiving, unloading, laydown, and acceptance conditions.
• Coordinate site access, route constraints, gates, turning radius, crane access, and staging.
• Support installation readiness, including foundation readiness and utility interface readiness.
• Confirm foundation readiness and utility interfaces for electrical/mechanical/refrigerant/drains.
• Coordinate turnover to commissioning by ensuring installation completion criteria and documentation readiness.
