The Sr. Project Manager - Chillers is responsible for managing customer-facing centrifugal chiller and modular cooling plant projects in North America from order intake through engineering, manufacturing, delivery, installation, commissioning, and final handover. The Project Manager serves as the primary project interface among customers, consultants, general contractors, EPC contractors, MEP contractors, and internal teams. He/she is responsible for managing project scope, schedule, budget, risks, change orders, documentation, stakeholder communication, customer expectations, and project execution performance to ensure safe, compliant, timely, and profitable project delivery. This role also coordinates with responsible stakeholders to support permit/local permitting, inspections, AHJ approval/acceptance, regulatory approval, compliance clearance (Customer/EOR/GC/AHJ/NRTL), construction and site safety (OSHA, JHA/JSA, LOTO, permit-to-work), UL/ETL/CSA/NRTL labeling and field evaluation/field labeling, environmental compliance, insurance requirements, FAT/SAT, commissioning requirements, and turnover/closeout requirements necessary for site delivery, installation, commissioning, and turnover. The position collaborates with global stakeholders across Japan and the U.S. to align priorities, enable effective execution, and support MHIA’s long-term business objectives. The ideal candidate will have at least nine (9) years of experience, including at least four (4) years in centrifugal chillers and modular cooling plants.
