Job summary

Top Prospect Group is seeking a Senior Chemical Process Engineer onsite in Stratford, CT. You will own product-related processes, drive COP improvements, and provide technical support from pilot batches to full-scale production.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
7+ years of hands-on experience in a chemical manufacturing environment as a Process/Production Engineer.
Proven track record of successful project management from scope to implementation.
Experience with batch chemical processing, lab-scale and pilot-scale work.
Knowledge of quality, environmental, and process safety systems (OSHA PSM, ISO 9001, ISO 14001).
Strong multitasking, prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

Develop knowledge of products and manufacturing processes.
Serve as Product Owner for assigned products and monitor production daily.
Improve COPs and maintain documentation accuracy.
Support pilot batches, scale-up activities, and DOE work as needed.
Lead risk management, CAPAs, and corrective actions for product issues.
Collaborate with Sales/Marketing on new product development and customer relations.
