Job summary

ClinLab Solutions Group seeks a driven Process Engineer to own batch chemical manufacturing processes, focusing on optimization, scale-up, and process safety. This role emphasizes technical leadership and continuous improvement within our manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include driving process optimization for safety and efficiency, leading scale-up from lab to production, and managing PHA/MOC programs. Travel domestically and internationally is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in chemical manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a process engineering role within a batch chemical processing environment.
• Knowledge of PHA, HAZOP, MOC, and Process Safety Management.
• Proven success in process optimization and scale‑up projects.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in American English; professional proficiency in Spanish desirable.
• Ability to provide academic transcripts upon request.

Responsibilities

• Drive optimization of manufacturing processes to enhance safety, quality, cost-effectiveness, and efficiency.
• Lead the scale-up and commercialization of new chemical products from laboratory to production scale.
• Facilitate and own Process Hazard Analyses (PHA) and process risk assessments to ensure process safety excellence.
• Manage the Management of Change (MOC) program for the facility, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate process risks prior to implementation of changes or new processes.
• Coordinate laboratory evaluations and technical testing to support process improvements and troubleshooting.
• Implement strategies to improve yields, reduce cycle times, and increase reliability in manufacturing operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Laboratory, Quality, and Engineering, to support process initiatives and project goals.
