Job summary

AllSearch Staffing Group is seeking a Senior Chemical Process Engineer for our client in High Point, NC. Lead design, development, and optimization of chemical manufacturing processes, ensuring reliability, scale-up, and transfer from R&D to production.

You will collaborate across functions, drive process safety, and manage documentation, SPC, and process control systems while supporting equipment and utility design and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years experience in chemical processing industry or manufacturing.
• Experience with root cause analysis and preventive actions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize chemical manufacturing processes to support production goals and quality.
• Perform daily field walks to verify equipment status and support commissioning activities.
• Support process troubleshooting, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive measures.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, maintenance, quality, and other teams to implement changes.
• Conduct process and equipment design reviews and support technology transfer.
• Write, revise, and maintain batch procedures and manufacturing documentation.
• Apply statistical analysis and SPC to monitor performance and customer requirements.
• Support Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) and HAZOP studies.
• Develop CAD drawings and P&IDs related to processes and equipment.
• Support automated process control systems and plant utilities.
• Utilize preventive and predictive maintenance programs and assist with shutdowns.
