Job summary

Pinnacle Specialty Group is seeking a senior Chemical Engineer to support the Mechanical Project Design group at the Oak Ridge Y-12 Plant. The role provides process design support for the Lithium Processing Facility project, involving scope definition, feasibility and conceptual studies, and preliminary to detailed designs.

Responsibilities include flowsheet development (PFDs, P&IDs), analyses and calculations, and preparing reports and process descriptions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (ABET-accredited) with 10+ years of progressive professional experience in process design.

Responsibilities

• Provide process design support for the Lithium Processing Facility Project at the Oak Ridge Y-12 Plant.
• Participate in scope definition, feasibility and conceptual studies, and preliminary to detailed designs.
