Job summary

Spectra Tech, Inc. is seeking a Chemical Engineer in Oak Ridge, TN to support the Mechanical Project Design group at the Y-12 Plant. The role focuses on process design support for the Lithium Processing Facility Project, with hands-on development of flowsheets, PFDs, and related design deliverables.

You will perform analyses, calculations, and prepare process descriptions and reports, contributing to feasible, safe facility designs in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Requires ABET-accredited Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive professional experience in process design.
• Experience with complex nuclear or chemical facility design preferred.
