Job description

Location: THE PIG in the South Downs, Arundel, West Sussex.

Salary: OTE £15.00 per hour. £38,792 PA including tronc based on 48 hours per week.

£2000 bonus (£1000 on joining and £1000 after probation period)

A Senior Chef de Partie role at THE PIG is unique. We source from local suppliers within a 25-mile radius, utilize our own kitchen garden produce, and craft menus that change regularly. Our chefs are passionate and dedicated to delivering an unforgettable dining experience, emphasizing creativity.

Our kitchens are fast-paced and energetic. We seek individuals with enthusiasm, your knives, and a passion for cooking. We will support your development in this environment.

Our chefs engage in ongoing conversations with gardeners, farmers, butchers, and fishmongers about seasonal and available ingredients.

As Senior Chef de Partie, you will manage one of four kitchen sections, overseeing and sharing your knowledge with junior chefs.

We run an award-winning apprenticeship program. As a Senior Chef de Partie, you will lead, teach, and inspire apprentices.

We seek confident Senior Chef de Parties capable of supporting a dynamic team. Opportunities include working across multiple properties and advancing into Junior Sous or Sous Chef roles.
