Job summary

Ford Motor Company seeks an experienced Technical Expert LL6 to lead the design and in-house process delivery for suspension structural components. You will drive feasibility, tooling alignment, and manufacturing simulations to optimize formability and quality.

Responsibilities include DFMEA/PFMEA, APQP planning, and root-cause analysis with cross-functional teams to ensure successful launches across global facilities.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering is required.
• 10+ years of chassis structural design experience.
• Experience with DFMEA, PFMEA, and control plans.
• Deep GD&T knowledge and drawings development.
• Lead Build-to-Print supplier deliverables and PPAP readiness.
• Experience with CAE tools, simulations, and DOE.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of in-house design/ manufacturing processes for suspension components.
• Create and manage DFMEA, PFMEA, and process control plans.
• Perform design for manufacturing/assembly reviews before tool kickoff.
• Drive manufacturing simulations to optimize formability and flow.
• Lead root-cause analysis for dimensional/quality issues during launch.
• Develop APQP plans and lead OK-to-build/OK-to-ship reviews.
