Job summary

Ford Motor Company seeks a Technical Expert (LL6) to lead the in-house design and manufacturing process for suspension structural components, including stampings, castings, and forgings. You will develop design guidelines, process FMEAs, and interface contracts, driving feasibility reviews and supplier alignment.

You will also run manufacturing simulations, manage APQP plans, and lead root-cause analysis during launch and production, while coordinating with global teams and suppliers to ensure

Qualifications

BS in Engineering is required.
10 years of chassis structural design experience.
Extensive experience with suspension components and launch.

Responsibilities

Lead in-house design and manufacturing process for suspension parts.
Develop and maintain internal engineering foundation documents.
Create and manage DFMEA, PFMEA, control plans.
Lead DFM/ DFA feasibility reviews before tool kickoff.
Run process simulations to optimize manufacturing.
Lead OK to build/ship with supplier and approve steel purchase.
Lead root cause analysis during launch and production.
