Job summary

Ford Motor Company in the United States is seeking a Technical Expert (LL6) to lead the technical design, development, and in-house process delivery for Suspension Structural Components (stampings, castings, forgings) in Ford Vehicles.

The role emphasizes DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, and Design for Manufacturing reviews to ensure tooling feasibility and production readiness. You will collaborate with suppliers and internal teams across design, release, and manufacturing.

Qualifications

• BS-Engineering required.
• Extensive chassis structural design and release experience.
• Experience with DFMEA, PFMEA, and GD&T standards.
• Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, and gauge/fixture reviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and delivery of in-house design/manufacturing processes for suspension parts.
• Create and maintain engineering foundation documents including design rules and interfaces.
• Manage DFMEA, PFMEA, control plans, and process documentation.
• Conduct DFM/DFA reviews and ensure tool design alignment with plant equipment.
• Lead manufacturing process simulations to optimize structure and feasibility.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams across design, release, and manufacturing.
