Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a senior program manager to oversee corporate change initiatives affecting how the bank does business, provides products or services, and executes functions. You will serve as the primary contact to department managers, communicating, influencing, and negotiating resources to align with strategy and new capabilities.

You will lead governance, scope definition, milestones, and KPI tracking, while coordinating with sponsors, vendors, auditors, and regulators to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Process and Mechanical Engineering, Operations Research, Data Science, Accounting, Business Administration (or equivalent work experience).
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in risk management, compliance, controls, audit, independent testing, or a related financial services discipline.
• Strong communication skills to explain methodologies to senior stakeholders, auditors, and regulators.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with implementing process improvements and automation.

Responsibilities

• Defines program controls, processes, procedures, reporting cadence, decision governance structures, and ways of working with key stakeholders.
• Works with sponsors, cross-functional teams, and project managers to develop scope, deliverables, resources, work plan, budget, and timing for change initiatives.
• Monitors execution of tasks through milestones, develops program plans, and tracks KPIs.
• Analyzes risks and produces program reports for managers and stakeholders.
• Identifies requirements for cross-functional teams and vendors to meet program objectives.
• Leads cross-project risk identification and resolution with other program managers.
• Meets with stakeholders to provide transparency into issues and decisions and to build relationships.
