Job summary

BH Zion, LLC is looking for an experienced Change Management Lead to support Maryland Department of Health (MDH) IT modernization efforts in Baltimore. The role requires coordinating change strategies, stakeholder engagement, readiness assessments, and adoption metrics for a large, regulated government project.

The position is hybrid, with 40% on-site in Baltimore City and potential additional on-site during rollouts.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Organizational Development, or related field.
10+ years of project management experience.
8+ years managing complex IT development projects.
5+ years applying PMI's PMBOK methodologies and artifacts.

Responsibilities

Lead organizational change management activities for a large-scale healthcare IT modernization initiative.
Develop and execute change management strategies, communication plans, stakeholder engagement plans, and adoption roadmaps.
Conduct organizational readiness and change impact assessments; identify and address resistance and adoption risks.
Partner with executives, project teams, and stakeholders to facilitate meetings, workshops, communications, and change initiatives.
Coach executive sponsors and change champions to support organizational readiness and adoption.
Coordinate change management activities with project delivery, training, and implementation teams.
Develop project documentation, status reports, risk mitigation plans, and change management artifacts.
Establish adoption metrics, dashboards, and reporting to measure effectiveness and support post-implementation improvements.
