Job summary

Fluor, a leading government contractor, seeks a Project Controls Lead to supervise a small team and act as SME for Project Controls in the regional office. You will develop WBS, lead EPC schedule/cost controls, and coordinate with estimators while guiding recovery plans for schedule and cost variances.

Qualifications include a four-year degree or equivalent plus about eight years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and leadership ability.

Qualifications

• Accredited four year degree or global equivalent and eight years of related experience, or twelve years if no degree.
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences including management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
• Knowledge of local, state/provincial, and federal regulations relevant to project controls.

Responsibilities

• Develop Work Breakdown and Project Coding Structures for control and integrity of contract work.
• Develop integrated engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) schedules/cost control programs.
• Recommend recovery plans for schedule or cost impact or delays.
• As Cost Specialist, analyze PMAR and variances; communicate reasons and mitigation plans.
• Coordinate estimate development with the Project Estimator.
