Job summary

Fluor Corporation is seeking a Senior Project Controls Leader to oversee cost, schedule, and progress on medium to large projects in our government contracting portfolio.

You will lead cost reviews, develop WBS structures, and mentor the Project Controls team while interfacing with management, clients, and vendors. U.S. citizenship is required. Travel may be international.

Qualifications

• Accredited four-year degree in applicable field.
• Twelve years of related experience or sixteen years with no degree.
• Ability to communicate with management, coworkers, clients, vendors, and visitors.
• Knowledge of applicable local, state/provincial, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and direct the total Project Controls program on projects.
• Implement WBS and project coding structures for data conversion to the control system.
• Analyze variances in cost or schedule and communicate reasons and mitigation plans.
• Contribute to proposal efforts for cost or scheduling activities.
• Lead cost reviews and project profit recognition; evaluate opportunities with management.
• Lead planner; manage project schedule including critical path and schedule float.
• Other duties as assigned.
