Job summary

Fluor Corporation is seeking a Project Controls Manager to lead a team on medium and large-sized projects. You will coordinate cost, schedule, and commercial baselines, provide direction, and work closely with client representatives and Fluor leadership.

The role requires a four-year degree with extensive experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to implement project controls plans. International travel may be required, and Fluor offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an applicable field and 15 years of related experience, or 19 years total if no degree.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors and visitors.
• Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
• Attention to detail and time-conscious work habits.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a project controls plan as part of the Project Execution Plan (PEP).
• Plan and organize setup of project baseline in Fluor's project controls system and monitor variances.
• Develop cost, schedule, and baseline measurements and tracking.
• Provide technical and administrative direction and coaching to the Project Controls team.
• Analyze variances in cost/schedule and communicate mitigations to Project Management.
• Supervise Work Breakdown Structure and Project Coding Structures for contract integrity.
• Other duties as assigned.
