Job summary

Fluor Corporation, a leading government contractor, seeks a seasoned Project Controls Lead to guide project control activities and supervise a small team. The role requires developing WBS, EPC schedules, and cost control programs, while recommending recovery plans for schedule or cost impacts.

The incumbent will lead scheduling and cost teams, analyze variances, and communicate mitigation strategies to management and clients.

Qualifications

• Accredited four year degree and 10+ years of related experience
• Ability to communicate with diverse audiences including management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
• Knowledge of local, state/province, and federal statutes and guidelines as applicable
• Attention to detail and time-conscious work ethic
• Experience in leadership roles such as CTL on small projects or scheduling/cost leadership on large projects

Responsibilities

• Develop Work Breakdown and Project Coding Structures for control and integrity of work defined by the contract
• Develop totally integrated EPC schedules or cost control programs
• Recommend solutions or recovery plans for schedule or cost impacts
• Lead Scheduler to analyze schedule delays and propose recovery options
• Lead Cost Specialist to maintain cost systems and provide reports
• Analyze variances in cost and schedule performance and communicate mitigation plans
