Job summary

Celestica Inc. seeks a Senior Certification & Compliance Engineer to join the engineering team in a remote US role. You will embed with product development from day one, bridging factory listings and field compliance for modular data center systems.

You will lead certification strategies, coordinate with UL/ETL/CSA and ensure NEC/NFPA/UL standards are met, enabling rapid deployment and permitting.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of NEC (NFPA 70), NFPA 70E, NFPA 855, NFPA 75, and UL listings.
• Experience certifying industrial power equipment and modular systems.
• Ability to lead product certification campaigns from architecture to certificate issuance.

Responsibilities

• Embed with design engineers to guide layouts, spacing, components, and boundaries.
• Vet third party components for proper listings and ratings.
• Ensure packaging respects NEC, NFPA, OSHA safety requirements.
• Define and execute global product certification strategy.
• Interface with NRTL partners (UL, Intertek, CSA) for listings.
• Structure and oversee physical testing programs.
