Job summary

Celestica, Inc. is seeking a Senior Certification & Compliance Engineer to lead regulatory compliance across modular data center products.

You will embed with product teams from day one, guiding designs for factory listings and field deployment, ensuring compliance across global standards and enabling faster permitting. The role requires experience certifying heavy electrical power equipment, strong collaboration with certification bodies, and a track record of creating robust test plans to keep

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience certifying industrial power equipment.
Knowledge of NEC/NFPA 70 and UL listings.
Ability to work with certification bodies and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Embed with design engineers to guide layouts, spacing, components, and boundaries.
Review third-party components for proper listings and ratings.
Ensure workspace clearances and safety boundaries per NEC/NFPA/OSHA.
Define and execute global product certification strategy for the portfolio.
Serve as primary contact with NRTL entities (UL, Intertek, CSA).
Structure and oversee testing campaigns (dielectric, short-circuit, thermal, environmental).
