Job summary

Celestica is seeking a Senior Certification & Compliance Engineer to join our engineering team. You will embed with product development from day one, acting as a technical co-creator to ensure factory listings translate to field compliance for modular data center solutions.

You will manage certification strategies, interface with NRTLs like UL/Intertek/CSA, and oversee testing campaigns ensuring NEC, NFPA, UL standards compliance across global programs.

Qualifications

• Experience certifying industrial power equipment, modular enclosures, or data center utility skids.
• Strong collaboration with product development teams to drive compliance-by-design.
• Proven ability to manage testing campaigns and liaise with NRTL bodies (UL, Intertek, CSA).

Responsibilities

• Embed with design teams to guide layouts, clearances, and component selection.
• Define and execute global product certification strategy.
• Coordinate with NRTL bodies and oversee testing programs (dielectric, short-circuit, thermal runaways).
• Maintain technical construction files and traceability matrices; align production with compliance tests.
