Job summary

Celestica, Inc. is seeking a Senior Certification & Compliance Engineer to lead regulatory compliance for modular data center products.

This role embeds with engineering teams from day one, driving factory-to-field certification strategies and coordinating with NRTLs such as UL, Intertek, and CSA toward timely certificates. The ideal candidate will guide layouts, component selections, and testing programs, ensuring NEC/NFPA/UL compliance across global products while partnering with manufacturing

Qualifications

6+ years in regulatory compliance or design-focused product safety roles.
Proven track record certifying industrial power equipment/modular enclosures/grid-tied systems.
Experience guiding product through initial NRTL listing campaigns (e.g., UL/Intertek).

Responsibilities

Embed with electrical, mechanical, and controls engineers to guide layouts, spacing, components, and boundaries.
Vet third-party components for appropriate listings and ratings.
Ensure workspace clearances and safety boundaries per NEC/NFPA/OSHA.
Define and execute global product certification strategy for the portfolio.
Serve as primary technical contact with NRTL bodies (UL, Intertek, CSA).
Structure and oversee testing campaigns (dielectric, short-circuit, thermal, environmental).
