Job summary

Aging True's Keystone Heights Senior Center is seeking a part-time Assistant Supervisor to help run the congregate meals program and support the Center Supervisor. This role involves stepping in during the Supervisor's absence and ensuring adherence to health and elder care standards.

The position focuses on supervising meals, keeping the site clean and welcoming for seniors, and coordinating events. A high school diploma, valid driver’s license, and strong organizational skills are required;

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Valid state driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
• Must pass a Level II Background Check and drug screen.
• Must be detail oriented and possess excellent organization skills.
• Previous experience in nutrition preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving and serving congregate meals.
• Maintain a clean, orderly meal site compliant with health and elder care regulations.
• Maintain attendance roster at the meal site.
• Assist with activities and events at the Senior Center/Nutrition Site.
• Ensure the meal program complies with funder and agency policy daily.
• Verify food temperatures upon delivery and before serving.
• Identify supplies and cleaning products needed.
• Assist with scheduling and conducting new client assessments.
• Interact with clients, volunteers, and staff to foster a welcoming environment.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information per HIPAA.
• Encourage donations by attendees in the congregate meal program.
• Adhere to all agency policies and procedures.
• Inform Supervisor of repairs or safety issues at the Center.
• Keep Supervisor informed of unusual events or occurrences.
• Assist the Supervisor as needed.
