Job summary

FiftyForward Martin Center in Nashville is seeking a Center Director to lead operations, programs, and community engagement in alignment with FiftyForward’s mission. The role focuses on strong governance, staff leadership, and service excellence for older adults.

The Director will partner with senior leadership, advisory boards, and community partners to secure resources, oversee budgets, and promote center visibility and impact within the community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; degree in social services or related field preferred.
• Two to four years' experience in a social services agency.
• Two to four years supervisory experience; one to three years working with senior adults.
• Excellent oral and written communication; proficient with Word and Excel.
• Must be willing to drive passenger group travel van and maintain safe driving record and automobile liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and management of Center operations, programs, services, facilities, and administrative functions.
• Develop, administer, and monitor the Center budget while maintaining accountability for achieving goals.
• Recruit, supervise, develop, and evaluate staff; foster accountability, collaboration, growth, customer service, and excellence.
• Oversee membership services, program delivery, and participant engagement for older adults and community.
• Cultivate relationships with members, volunteers, community partners, and business leaders to boost visibility and impact.
• Serve as liaison for facility operations, including maintenance, capital improvements, and vendor management.
• Collaborate with Communications to promote programs and ensure branding alignment.
• Be an active member of FiftyForward leadership, contributing to organizational planning.
• Partner with Advisory Council to support community engagement and communication.
• Prepare and maintain reports, records, and documentation for compliance and decision-making.
• Plan and execute at least one annual center signature event to generate support.
