Center for Digital Governmtent seeks a Senior Activity Center Director to oversee all phases of a multi-purpose senior center in Annapolis, MD. Qualifikationen

• Education: Four-year college degree in public/business administration or related field.
• Experience: Two or more years in program management or related management of public aging services.
• Note: Degree may substitute up to four years of experience in senior activity center or related settings.

Aufgaben

• Supervises Senior Center staff and volunteers; conducts annual evaluations; supports staff development.
• Programs a variety of classes and activities to meet senior participants and their families.
• Recruits, hires, trains, and retains instructors (paid and volunteer).
• Engages with diverse communities and ensures accessible services for people with disabilities.
• Serves as liaison with community organizations and partners; represents the department positively.
• Oversees budget and fiscal operations of the senior center; participates in professional organizations.
• Performs outreach to seniors and families; shares information about programs and services.
• Creates and implements Emergency Evacuation Plans for the center.
