Job summary

England-Thims & Miller, Inc. is seeking a Sr. CEI Inspector in Orlando, FL to ensure contractor work aligns with project designs and FDOT/Client quality standards.

The role involves high-level field inspections, complex surveying, and supervision of junior inspectors. You will report field activity to the Project Manager through reports and weekly meetings. Qualifications include a High School Diploma/GED, 4+ years FDOT CEI experience, and CTQP certifications.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience with FDOT project activities and QA/QC procedures.
• CTQP certifications in asphalt, concrete, earthwork, pile driving and drilled shafts.

Responsibilities

• Perform field surveying and construction layout to ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Check engineering computations and inspect construction work for quality and safety.
• Coordinate and supervise lower-level inspectors and report progress to Project Manager/Administrator.
• Document field activities through reports and meet weekly with stakeholders.
