Job summary

England-Thims & Miller, Inc. seeks a Sr. CEI Inspector to ensure contractor work aligns with project design specs and FDOT/Client quality standards, including measurement, payment, and documentation.

This role oversees lower-level inspectors and performs complex field surveying, construction layout, and field testing. The Senior Inspector reports progress via field reports and weekly meetings and will handle field measurements, calculations, and coordination on site, often in outdoor

Qualifications

• 4+ years FDOT experience on CEI projects.
• CTQP Certification in Asphalt, Concrete, Earthwork, pile driving and drilled shafts.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex field surveying and construction layout.
• Check engineering computations and inspect construction work.
• Coordinate and manage lower-level inspectors.
• Field measurements and calculations.
• Report field activity to Project Manager weekly.
