Job summary

ETM Inc. is seeking a Sr. CEI Inspector in Florida to ensure contractor work aligns with project design specs and FDOT/Client quality standards. You will manage lower-level inspectors, perform complex field surveys, construction layout, and field tests, and report progress to the Project Manager weekly.

The role requires extensive field work, accurate measurement, and documentation of construction activities, with opportunities to lead a team and coordinate field operations on site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years FDOT CEI experience on projects (soil, concrete, steel, bridges).
• Experience with MAC, BlueBeam, Hummingbird and Site Manager programs.
• CTQP Certification in Asphalt, Concrete, Earthwork, pile driving and drilled shafts required.

Responsibilities

• Outdoor working environment.
• Safe operation of company vehicle.
• Working on uneven terrain.
• Frequent use of ladders.
• Hauling equipment and materials up to 40lbs.
• Working in inclement weather conditions.
• Working independently and providing guidance to staff.
• Repetitive bending and lifting, including overhead work.
• Nighttime and weekend work hours may be required.
• Standing on feet for 8 hours daily; overtime may be required.
• Field measurements and calculations.
