Job summary

Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP seeks a CEI Senior Construction Engineer to grow its CEI practice in Central Florida from the Tampa office. The role emphasizes leadership, staff development, and expanding relationships with FDOT and local governments.

The ideal candidate will have FDOT project experience, a Florida PE license or ability to obtain, and a proven track record in CEI, budgeting, and business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in civil or construction engineering.
• Florida PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Minimum 8 years of FDOT CEI/CM experience.
• Experience with FDOT projects and local governments.
• CEI leadership and business development experience.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and expand WRA’s Central Florida CEI practice from the Tampa Office.
• Lead CEI teams, manage staff, and mentor CEI personnel.
• Prepare CEI scopes and budgets for submissions and negotiations.
• Oversee contracts from award to closeout with federal, state, and local clients.
• Support business development and cultivate client relationships for CEI opportunities.
