Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for Central Florida with extensive CEI construction management experience. The role supports a large CEI team across Altamonte Springs, Orlando, Lakeland, and Tampa offices, driving delivery on major transportation projects.

You will lead project teams, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate with clients to meet objectives while pursuing future opportunities. Candidates must have a Florida PE license and a strong safety record.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• State of Florida Registered Professional Engineer.
• 12 years of CEI Construction Management experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and adherence to health, safety, and harassment policies.

Responsibilities

• Participate as a member of the Consultant Construction Engineering and Inspection (CCEI) contract team.
• Direct a highly complex and specialized construction engineering administration and inspection project/program.
• Plan and organize the work of subordinate and staff members; develop and/or review project specific policies, methods, practices, and procedures.
• Review programs for conformance with Client standards.
• Identify and pursue future opportunities.
• Develop and maintain excellent professional relationships to facilitate project delivery and follow-on work.
• Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds and resources.
• Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
