Job summary

GAI Consultants Inc. is seeking a Senior CEI Engineering Manager to support our Transportation Business Sector in Ohio and serve as Construction Inspection Services Manager for state and private clients.

You will lead CEI teams across highway, roadway and bridge projects, direct complex inspection programs, and market new work. The role requires 18+ years of experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering, and ability to obtain ODOT certifications if not already held.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering or related field required.
• 18+ years of related experience in CEI/engineering management.
• ODOT construction inspection certifications or ability to obtain within 120 days.

Responsibilities

• Manage and staff CEI teams on highway, roadway, and bridge projects across Ohio.
• Direct complex construction engineering inspection programs.
• Plan and organize work of subordinates and staff.
• Market projects and lead proposal preparation.
• Manage existing client relationships and develop new clients.
• Oversee accuracy of project team work and guide toward objectives.
• Perform project management duties as required.
