Egis is seeking a seasoned Construction Inspection Engineer to supervise inspectors on road and bridge DOT projects across the United States. The role focuses on quality control, interpreting plans and specs, and coordinating technical submittals with field teams.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years CEI experience, ability to lead a team, and proficiency in MS Office. This position offers a hybrid work model with opportunities to advance within a global infrastructure leader.

Qualificações

• 7+ years CEI and construction experience on road/bridge DOT projects preferred.
• Willingness to work weekends, nights, and swing shifts as required.
• Progressive work-related experience.
• Ability to gather and understand technical data for advanced technical reports.
• Advanced knowledge of construction practices and principles.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, standards and specifications.

Responsabilidades

• Supervises subordinate inspectors responsible for monitoring work quality and performance.
• Reviews project activities with contractor's field supervision to resolve disputes and other project issues.
• Reads and interprets contract plans, specifications, and language.
• Possesses current material testing certifications as applicable for earthwork, asphalt, concrete, pile driving, drilled shafts, etc.
• Documents material testing and acceptance; inspects contractor work quality.
• Coordinates responses to project correspondence, RFIs and submittals.
