Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related technical degree.
• Minimum 10+ years in technical product development with high level system design experience.
• Strong background in fluid mechanics and thermodynamics.
• Knowledge of CDU design including pump and heat exchanger selection.
• Excellent project management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead system level development of Single Phase, In Row and In Rack, Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs).
• Engage with Offering teams to develop product offerings and SRS/ERS.
• Provide unit level performance calculations for customer specific data center applications.
• Participate in cross functional design reviews and ensure compliance with Vertiv and HDLC design standards and principles.
• Interface with internal/external sales departments and business development managers to support customer technical development.
• Provide technical guidance to solve field issues and support the service department.
