Bars & Recreation in Milwaukee seeks a Senior Catering & Event Captain to lead onsite and offsite catering programs, manage event staff, and coordinate logistics across locations. You’ll serve as primary onsite contact for clients, vendors, and venues, while delivering hospitality that elevates every event from setup to teardown.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of hospitality or banquet/event operations experience.
• Proven leadership in coordinating event staff and timelines.
• Ability to manage client relations and on-site logistics.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Banquet Captain for onsite and offsite catered events.
• Lead setup, service, room flips, and breakdown; supervise staff.
• Coordinate event timelines with Sales, Culinary and Operations teams.
• Transport food, beverages, and equipment between facilities and events.
• Ensure food and beverage presentation meets quality standards.
• Maintain guest satisfaction and resolve service issues.
• Mentor Crew Members and Leads in event execution.
