C.A. Fortune in Boise, ID is seeking a Category Manager to drive go-to-market analytics for retailers and channels, with a focus on Albertsons. You will deliver pricing, promotion, distribution, and shelf optimization insights to inform client strategies and value-added tools.

The role requires 5+ years in the CPG industry, strong data skills with leading platforms, and the ability to present findings to senior clients. Fully remote with hybrid option onsite in Chicago per travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree plus 5+ years of CPG industry experience.
• Advanced proficiency in SymphonyAI (Shopper360), SPINS (Satori), Nielsen, IRI, and other data platforms.
• Expertise in selling story development, category reviews, and category management principles.
• Highly advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills to support data storytelling.
• Strategic & Critical Thinking: translate data into actionable insights and drive recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement an advanced business intelligence strategy aligned with the Insights Pillar, delivering actionable impact.
• Support 1-5 top clients including reporting, retailer category reviews, and performance analyses.
• Drive proficiency in analytical tools to uncover business opportunities.
• Develop category management strategies aligned with client KPIs and merchandising principles.
• Create fact-based category reviews and selling stories to guide decisions.
• Lead business reviews and recommendations to clients and retailers.
