C.A. Fortune is seeking a Category Manager to lead go-to-market analytics, pricing, promotion, distribution, and shelf placement for retailers and channels, with a focus on Albertsons. You will deliver insights, drive KPI-based decisions, and act as an internal consultant to our sales teams and clients.

Fully remote with Boise, ID base, travel 10–20%. Salary $85,000–$95,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree plus 5+ years of CPG industry experience.
• Advanced proficiency in SPINS, Nielsen, IRI, Mintel, and SymphonyAI.
• Excel and PowerPoint for data storytelling.
• Experience presenting to retailers and developing selling stories.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement an advanced BI strategy aligned with Insights Pillar.
• Support 1-5 top clients with reporting and reviews.
• Develop category management strategies aligned with client KPIs.
• Create fact-based category reviews and selling stories.
• Lead business reviews and present recommendations to clients/retailers.
• Partner with sales to develop compelling account presentations.
• Conduct post-promotional analyses to optimize future planning.
• Foster cross-functional alignment across category management, sales, and marketing.
• Refine reporting and analytics processes for efficiency.
