Job summary

Owens & Minor, a global healthcare solutions company, is seeking a senior Category Manager IV within Indirect Procurement. The role leads complex sourcing, supplier management, and category strategies across consulting, legal, audit, tax, engineering and financial advisory services.

You will manage executive stakeholder relationships, develop strategies, negotiate terms, and guide cross-functional teams to deliver sustainable cost reductions while managing risk and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; procurement certification preferred.
• 8+ years of procurement, strategic sourcing, or related experience.
• Experience managing indirect categories and supplier negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute multiyear category strategies across indirect categories.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing events, RFPs/RFQs, negotiations, and awards.
• Manage supplier relationships and drive cost reductions while mitigating risk.
• Partner with CFO/Finance and legal/compliance to support contracts.
• Mentor less experienced team members as needed.
