Job summary

Owens & Minor is seeking a Senior Manager, Indirect Category Management in the United States. The role leads category strategies, sourcing programs, and supplier management for indirect spend, partnering with senior leaders to optimize value and ensure continuity and compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; 10+ years of procurement, sourcing, or related experience.
Experience leading indirect procurement and category management initiatives.
Strong knowledge of supplier relationship management, contract negotiations, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute multiyear category strategies for indirect spend categories.
Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing events, including RFPs/RFQs and negotiations.
Manage key supplier relationships and drive supplier performance reviews and continuous improvement.
Deliver annual cost reduction targets through sourcing, negotiation, demand management, and savings pipelines.
Lead and develop procurement team members, promoting collaboration and governance.
