Owens & Minor is seeking a senior procurement professional to lead indirect category management across consulting, legal, audit, tax, and financial services. The Category Manager IV will shape multi-year strategies, manage senior stakeholders, and drive sustainable cost reductions.

This role emphasizes negotiations, supplier management, risk mitigation, and collaboration with Legal, Finance, and executives.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree required; procurement certification preferred.
• 8+ years of procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, category management, finance, or related business experience.
• Experience independently managing large, complex indirect categories.
• Strong experience leading negotiations, sourcing events, supplier evaluations, and contract support activities.

Aufgaben

• Develop and execute multiyear category strategies across indirect procurement.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing events, including RFP/RFQ, analysis, negotiations, and awards.
• Monitor market intelligence, supplier segmentation, and risk to inform sourcing strategy.
• Partner with Legal, Finance, Compliance, and stakeholders for contract review and decisions.
• Mentor junior Category Managers and sourcing analysts as needed.
• Demonstrate procurement excellence and drive value while mitigating risk.
