Job summary

Owens & Minor seeks a Senior Manager, Indirect Category Management to lead category strategies, sourcing programs, and supplier management for assigned indirect spend categories.

You will partner with business leaders to improve supplier value, deliver cost savings, and strengthen procurement discipline across consulting, legal, audit, tax, engineering, and advisory services. Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of procurement, sourcing, supply chain, category management, finance, or related business experience.
• 3+ years of direct people leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute multiyear category strategies for Indirect spend.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing events, RFP/RFQ, negotiations and award recommendations.
• Manage key supplier relationships and drive supplier performance reviews.
• Directly supervise Category Managers, Analysts, Specialists, or other team members.
• Foster executive stakeholder relationships and align with CFO, GC and other leaders.
• Leverage digital procurement technologies and data analytics to drive value.
