Job summary

AssuranceAmerica Managing General Agency seeks a Casualty Adjuster for a hybrid role based in Birmingham, Alabama. You will handle complex coverage and liability issues, conduct thorough investigations, and develop exposures to fairly evaluate injury claims in line with policy terms and company guidelines.

You will manage settlements, maintain reserves, and work closely with multiple departments to ensure accurate, timely decisions and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Requires fast-paced, automated production environment experience.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and evaluate coverage, liability and damages for personal auto policies.
• Negotiate settlements and obtain closing documents.
• Maintain reserves on all pending claims and diary/response times.
• Meet file handling goals and use the PTS system effectively.
• Attend relevant seminars to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.
