WEX in the United States is seeking a Senior Team Leader to guide the Cash Application team, ensuring payments are applied accurately and promptly across receivables. You will partner with Receivables, Customer Service, and the Accounting team to resolve cash postings and drive process improvements.

You will own the close processes, interface with banks and the General Ledger, and implement controls to mitigate risk while pursuing efficiency and automation.

Competenze

• At least 1 year of proven senior leadership experience in finance-related fields.
• 7+ years of financial experience in Accounts Receivable, banking, Accounts Payable, or another applicable area.
• 1-3 years of experience in managing high-level financial processes and teams.
• Must successfully pass a background investigation and drug screening.

Mansioni

• Oversee and guide the cash application team to ensure accurate and timely payment postings.
• Collaborate with Receivables, Customer Service, and other stakeholders to resolve posting issues.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with strong oversight.
• Coordinate with WEX Bank and Accounting for GL and journal entries.
• Design controls and processes to mitigate financial risk and improve efficiency.
• Identify and drive automation opportunities and AI integration with relevant functions.
• Respond to financial information requests from stakeholders and auditors with detail.
• Oversee onboarding of subsidiaries and acquisitions, ensuring policy compliance.
• Work with Treasury/IT on lockbox activity and banking issue resolution.
• Provide leadership through meetings, goal setting, and performance reviews.
• Coordinate training, PTO coverage, and process documentation.
