WEX Inc. is seeking a Senior Team Leader for Cash Application who will oversee the team responsible for applying payments to receivables and ensuring accuracy.

The role partners with Receivables, Customer Service, and accounting to resolve posting issues and manage closes with a strategic mindset. You will drive process improvements, collaborate with bank and IT teams, and mentor team members while supporting automation and AI initiatives to reduce manual work and risk.

Competenze

• At least 1 year of proven senior leadership experience in finance-related fields.
• 7+ years of financial experience in Accounts Receivable, banking, Accounts Payable, or another applicable area.
• 1-3 years of experience in managing high-level financial processes and teams.
• Must successfully pass a background investigation and drug screening.

Mansioni

• Oversee and ensure the accurate and timely application of payments to receivable accounts with advanced leadership.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and reporting with high oversight.
• Coordinate with WEX Bank and Accounting to ensure GL and daily cash/AR journal entries.
• Drive process improvements and automation opportunities to mitigate risk and improve efficiency.
