Job summary

WEX Inc. is seeking a Senior Team Leader to oversee the Cash Application team, ensuring accurate payment application and strong controls. You will lead close cycles and partner with Treasury, IT, and external auditors to deliver precise financial reporting.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of financial experience in Accounts Receivable, banking, or Accounts Payable.
• Proven senior leadership experience in finance.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Strong collaboration with internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accurate and timely application of payments to receivable accounts.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and reporting with high oversight.
• Coordinate with Treasury and IT on lockbox activity and bank issues.
• Drive process improvements and automation to reduce manual work and mitigate risk.
• Provide detailed financial information to internal and external auditors with accuracy.
