Job summary

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina is seeking a Principal Treasury Analyst to build and improve cash forecasting capabilities for the organization and its subsidiaries. You will lead analyses of cash flow trends and provide actionable insights to support strategic decisions and capital allocation.

You will collaborate with Finance, Treasury Operations, Actuarial, Investments, and other leaders to gather assumptions, improve accuracy, and optimize returns in line with investment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree (where required).
• 8+ years of experience in related field; in lieu of degree, 10+ years.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, maintenance, and enhancement of cash flow forecasts.
• Analyze historical and projected cash trends to identify drivers and risks.
• Communicate trends and forecast drivers to Senior Management and the Board.
• Partner with Finance, Treasury Operations, Actuarial, Investments to gather assumptions.
• Optimize excess cash and maximize return per policy.
